Fort Collins Experts in Lymph Drainage and Lymph Massage

What makes us unique or Fort Collins Experts in Lymph Drainage and Lymph Massage?

Welcome to Lymphworks - Northern Colorado’s Premier Lymph Drainage Therapy and Lymph Massage Clinic. What makes us Fort Collins Experts in Lymph Drainage and Lymph Massage?

At Lymphworks, we are dedicated to the art and science of lymphatic health, and our focus has been on specialized lymph drainage therapy for over two decades. As Northern Colorado’s most experienced and highly trained lymphatic professionals, we believe our team’s skill, dedication, and extensive training set us apart from other massage therapy and bodywork providers. Here’s what makes Lymphworks unique:

1. Northern Colorado’s Most Experienced Practitioners

With 21 years of hands-on experience, Lymphworks owner and lead therapist, CJ McDaniel, has been a pioneer in Lymph Drainage Therapy in Fort Collins. Trained at an advanced level in the Chikly Method, CJ has been deeply immersed in lymphatic health since founding Lymphworks in 2003. As a teaching assistant for the Chikly Health Institute in Colorado, CJ is not only a skilled practitioner but also a dedicated educator.

LymphWorks' therapist Lindsey Longaker, with Lymphworks since 2017, brings expertise in both LDT (level 2) and is certified in the Vodder Method of Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD).  Therapist Jennifer Hightower is trained in LDT level 1, adding to her 40 hours of previous specialized Lymph Massage (LM) education.

2. Intuitive and Specialized Techniques

Our team is trained in the Chikly Method, a specialized Lymph Drainage Therapy (LDT) approach that teaches practitioners to feel and sense the layers, movement, and quality of lymphatic flow. Unlike other routine-based techniques, we customize each session, targeting areas of lymphatic and blood stagnation, their contributing soft tissue restrictions, to restore balance in an efficient manner.  Other practitioners from other schools of training such as MLD are taught to follow a routine and not feel or sense the flow of fluid with their hands making it likely that they will spend time working on areas of your body that may not need as much focus.

3. We Are Lymph Specialists

Lymph drainage is our primary focus, our "love language".  This is our expertise, practiced daily. Every client receives expert-level lymph drainage or integrated lymph drainage into lymph massage therapy, resulting in highly consistent, efficient, and effective results tailored to their specific needs. Because of this, our practitioners perform and maintain a very consistent level of care and results for clients.

4. Dedication to Continuous Learning

At Lymphworks, our therapists love to learn. Staying at the forefront of lymphatic health is part of our commitment to excellence. Our therapists regularly participate in professional development and continuing education to integrate the latest tools and techniques, ensuring every session is informed by the most recent advances in the field of Lymphatic health as well as rounding out our education with other related or supportive bodywork techniques.

5. Integrated, Holistic Approaches

In addition to LDT, our practitioners bring a broad range of skills to support fluid health and circulation in the body. From massage cupping, myofascial release (MFR) to lympho-visceral (organ) release (LVR) techniques, infrared therapy, brain therapy, lympho-fascial release (LFR), energy healing, and much more.  Each session is crafted to enhance lymphatic function and overall wellness.

6. Skilled in Post-Surgical Healing and Care

We cater to post-surgical lymphatic care, with expertise in supporting healing from a range of surgeries, including orthopedic and cosmetic procedures. Whether you are recovering from a mastectomy, a knee replacment, or a Brazilian But Lift (BBL), our tailored sessions align with each client’s stage of recovery, promoting effective lymphatic support and pain relief, reduced post surgical swelling, improved scar tissue, and getting clients back to doing the things they love.

7. Client Empowerment Through Education

Educating clients is one of our core values. We share practical self-care tips and tools, including lymphatic brushing / dry brushing, movement recommendations, and compression guidance, so clients feel empowered to enhance their lymphatic health at home and between sessions.  Ultimately, this aids in reconnecting clients with their body's wisdom and helping the client to need us less and less to maintain their Lymph Drainage results.

8. Focus on Skin Health and Natural Beauty

We understand that skin health and lymphatic health are deeply interconnected. More that 70% of the lymphatics of the human body are just underneath the skin.  By using lymphatic drainage and supportive techniques we can improve skin health and natural beauty, helping clients look and feel their best.

9. Consistency and Quality of Care

At Lymphworks, every client receives a high standard of care, rooted in our dedication to lymphatic health and personalized to their needs. This commitment to quality and consistency is the hallmark of our work.  Clients can learn to trust consistent outcomes from a visit to LymphWorks which is just one more reason why we believe we are the Fort Collins Experts in Lymph Drainage and Lymph Massage.

10. Resetting the Nervous System for Deep Relaxation

At Lymphworks, we recognize the profound impact of Lymph Drainage Therapy (LDT) on the nervous system. Whether performed as a standalone technique or integrated into other therapeutic approaches like massage, LDT is one of the most effective ways we’ve seen to gently shift the body out of a stress response, or “fight or flight mode,” and into a state of relaxation and healing. This reset of the parasympathetic nervous system is invaluable for clients facing the pressures of everyday life or recovering from illness, trauma, accidents, or surgery. To enhance and extend this calming benefit, we ensure that each session unfolds in a peaceful, supportive environment, encouraging lasting relaxation and holistic well-being.

11. A Network of Trusted Referrals

We know that optimal health may sometimes require additional support, and we maintain a list of trusted specialists to refer clients as needed. Our goal is to support your holistic health journey with the highest level of care and resources.

At Lymphworks, we are passionate about lymphatic health and dedicated to helping you achieve vibrant wellness making us the Fort Collins Experts in Lymph Drainage and Lymph Massage. To learn more or schedule a session, reach out to us today and experience the Lymphworks' difference.

A similar technique, Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD) is another type of lymphatic drainage technique you may hear about in the United States and Europe mostly practiced by Physical Therapists. In Europe, the stimulation of lymph flow is commonly prescribed by medical doctors and covered by insurance.
